Can you provide basic story plot spoilers for the XFiles 3 motion picture?
Many hundreds of years ago in the long forgotten past, the Mayan Empire vanished from existence with no clues as to where they disappeared to. It turns out the Mayans were taken by their all powerful extraterrestrial gods to the Realm of Light, which is an eternal paradise of unspeakable greatness beyond words. However, the benevolent and noble Mayans gave fair warning to the people of Earth that the Mayans would indeed return with their omnipotent extraterrestrial masters on the fateful date of 21 December 2012.
Since the European imperialists destroyed almost all of the written documents and records of the compassionate and admirable Mayan culture, current Western Civilization does not have access to the full text of the horrifying Mayan doomsday curse. However, the unfortunate citizens of Earth are rapidly approaching the appointed time and date for the Mayans return to their home planet of Earth.
Fox Mulder and Dana Scully become unwittingly caught up in the desperate, if not impossible, attempt to thwart the nefarious extraterrestrial colonization of our world. As 21 December 2012 quickly approaches, a rebel alien species is determined to stop the evil E.T. overlords from conquering our planet with their Mayan followers. The rebel aliens resurrect the deceased Lone Gunmen from the dead because the Lone Gunmen possess arcane secret knowledge, which is the only means to prevent the extraterrestrial invasion of the entire globe.
Not to be outdone by the rebel aliens, the evil extraterrestrials decide to show their superiority over the rebel alien filth by resurrecting the Cigarette Smoking Man and his cohorts, who were even much, much more dead than the Lone Gunmen if such can be understood by mortals. As thanks for being brought back to life as machine immortals, the Cigarette Smoking Man and his conspiratorial minions agree to do what is necessary to help the malevolent extraterrestrials subdue all of Earth.
Although a war against the invincible space entities from the distant stars seems hopeless, the rebel aliens conspire with a dark shadowy secret society organization of Humans to undermine the evil extraterrestrials' plan to take over the world.
Fox Mulder and Dana Scully become key players during these utterly terrifying times as they learn more and more about the enigmatic Mayan doomsday prophecy, which will unleash most certain doom. The movie concludes with an all out fight between the rebel aliens and the nefarious extraterrestrials.
The Lone Gunmen with Fox Mulder and Dana Scully are the determining factors, who will either stop the extraterrestrial invasion or perish trying to end it. Arrive quickly 21 December 2012. Rejoice for the appointed time and date rapidly approaches.
